Trampoline

We love the new trampoline that we got from my parents- my only wish is that I could jump on it- I guess I will get me time in may- I took this video the day after christmas we were able to get it the rest of the way on the 27th. It has been really cold here highs in the 30's. The kids have tried several times to jump but just get to cold. Friday is going to be 48 so they are going to jump all day friday-

Garbage truck

Ryan states that this is amazing because him and jared wanted to be garbage truck drivers as little kids- I guess it is the blood.

Christmas Gifts

We got a new camera from my parents for christmas and a new printer from kim and lynda and we are working out the computer glitches with them. I am waiting for ryan to install everything to my computer we have had several issues the last few days - sorry for the christmas picture delay- We hope everyone had a wonderful christmas.
We took the kids today to the Princess and the Frog- they both loved it- Kaitlyn loved the princess and caleb loved the mean guys. The baby is starting to really be active and ryan felt her for the first time the other night- fun- And caleb has gone two days with no accidents- Do I dare say he is potty trained?

The Englerts

The Englerts sent us a package for Christmas- Michelle made the kids each PJ's- they are so cute- In Kaitlyn fashion she couldn't wait to put them on. In true Caleb fashion he refused- Hopefully we will get them on him soon! They are both so cute- Caleb got some spider man trucks and Kaitlyn got a fun art project which we all now she loves- THANK you for always thinking of us. We miss everyone so much and especially this time of year being so far away from home.

Outside photos of the snow

The kids loved the snow- after putting the snow outfits on at least 10 times I have had enough snow for a while- we ended up getting well over a foot of snow and it is still here the highs are in the low 40's and loves in the low 20's. Christmas it is suppose to be 55 and rain- so we will have a major flood issue if it does happen because of the amount of snow left on the ground.
Caleb is not afraid of anything (besides Santa)- here is a photo of the ramp Ryan built for the kids to slide down.

Kaitlyn my artist

Here is kaitlyn's self portrait in water colors- She is amazing- I framed it and I just love it- I think it is better than most adults could do!

Holiday craft with Daddy

Kaitlyn and Caleb created some lovely garland for our tree with ryan the other night- I think kailtyn is going to be a professional crafter- She loves it- everyday she gets off the bus and right away starts to color or starts writing something. Today it was naming these dog stickers that her teacher game her.

SNOW

We got 11 inches of snow last night and we are going to get at least 4-6 more. With no where to go and all the snow attire we have the kids and ryan are all bundled up to play all day and have many cups of hot cocoa- I have a pair of x-large snow bigs I am going to try to put on in a little bit- with the ever growing baby- who knows if they will fit- ryan had to take my good friend and neighbor stacey to work this morning- she is a nurse other wise the world is shut down here- We thought Seattle freaked out when it snows- They say because we are not going to warm up that we will have a white Christmas- first here in many many years.

P.s. the patio canopy is a goner- we cleaned it off at 11 pm but we had a snow slide from the roof and well lets just say it has dump written all over it. I am completely done with Christmas shopping Ryan on the other hand has not taken the kids yet- So I might not be getting a present- Which isn't a big deal but typical of my wonderful husband. I will post more photos later-

I have always wanted to make homemade marshmallows- They were so good with hot cocoa- we gave each our neighbors hot chocolate chip cookies- hot cocoa mix, homemade marshmallows and a pepper mint stick dipped in chocolate for a stir stick- Ryan and the kids towed the goodies around in the wagon last friday night. Everyone was home so it worked out great- we all had so much fun. we just love our neighbors.

Merlin is the best cat

WE
LOVE MERLIN-
He is the best kitten ever. Although friday night our neighbor Jon had to come over and climb 50 feet up in our oak tree to get him down. I think our lovely dog cased him up there. Anyone want a yellow lab??

Mechanicsville Christmas parade

I took the kids to the mechancisville christmas parade on sunday- There were over 100 entries and it lasted well over and 1 and half hours. The kids loved it- It was cold in the 30's and I brought chairs and blankets for all three of us. Kaitlyn was so excited that santa and mrs. clause and one elf came at the very end. She said that came from the north pool just for the parade. Kids are so much fun.

Gingerbread houses 2009

The kids each made their own gingerbread houses this year- what a messy time. I think caleb ate more candy than he applied and he managed to made both walls of his house fall down so he now has a covered patio . Kaitlyn decorated hers all by herself. The kids both want to know when they can eat them.
