Prominent Iris Crypts

I have noticed since Brooke was born a spot on her eye. I asked the pediatrician and she referred us to an pediatric ophthalmologist. They got us in right away- Kind of scary- She has great vision and was diagnosed with a prominent iris Crypts. We are to watch it over the next 6 months but in his opinion it is clearly cosmetic- The camera for some reason picks up the spot really well in low light- there is actually on in each eye but the one on her left is most apparent.

Little boys and Tools

Caleb got this chainsaw the other day- I got it for him at a tag sale. He has had fun with it- so glad it was only $2 and we can get rid of it soon. It is so loud!

So look what she is doing now! Brooke loves her exercauser! Lets just say I wish I had one with the other kids! She is sitting in her bumboo and brings toys to her mouth to chew on. She smiles so easily and loves her big sister and brother. She is rolling all over the place and nothing is safe on the floor anymore.

Crump park

We took the kids to a park near our house the other day and we were surprised to find out that it was civil war days- they had all different tasks and jobs for the kids to do on the farm. They could dig sweet potatoes, feed the cows and horses, shell black eyed peas, spin wool. It was the first time taking the kids somewhere to ride there bikes- we had a lot of fun.

Washington DC with three kids

Last weekend we took the kids up to WA DC. We had a very tiring blast and lots of walking with the three kids- I Can totally understand why it isn't fun for them. Looking at old buildings. When I told kaitlyn how old the capital was she said.... Mom so it was built the same time grandma lynda was born. I started laughing so loud people started looking. She apparently has no idea of time yet. We were able to take a tour of the Capital- we walk to the library of congress, White house, american history museum, we saw the Washington monument. Lets just say it was memorable. In the history musuem we got to see the Ruby slippers from wizard of oz. Julie childs kitchen, lincoln's suit and top hat all the first ladies dresses.

Caleb goes to preschool

It is hard to believe that Caleb is old enough to go to preschool- he goes monday, wednesday and fridays from 9-12. He is just loving it and has already learned so much in the three days he has gone.

Woodland Park Zoo

We went to the zoo while we were in the Northwest. Wow we had a great time. We watched a bear catch and eat a salmon right in front of us. We saw a otter place a rock on his head and put it in his rock pile. We saw a hippo open his mouth and drink water from a water fall. Yeah it was so much fun!
