Arts and craft time

Kaitlyn and Mom make winter bird feeders while daddy does homework and caleb took a nap. We hope the birds like them!

Tech-Savy

This is how Kaitlyn talks on the phone now. At the age of 3 she is learning the importance of multi-tasking. She is talking to her Papa and playing play-doh with mom.

Nothing much to say other than enjoy this photo because there arent many photos with him happy sitting by himself. He no longer will sit in this chair. He is starting to look a lot like my sister when she was little. I told Chrisie she was coming back to haunt me.

Our day at the Virginia Center commons Mall

We went to the mall with Mrs. Jen our neighbor and Mason. They are a lot of fun. A lady brought us over some quarters and asked if the kids wanted to ride this ride-

She had the cutest costume ever! She love cupcakes- Anyone want to make her day buy her a cupcake with lots of frosting!

sewing time

One of Kaitlyn's favorite things to do with her Nanny is sew- Nanny sends sewing projects to VA. I do not sew and do not want to really learn. Why when my mom sews- I am really glad she is using the scissors for fabric and not hair!

Nothing but trouble

I have told ryan that we would only have more children if he promise me a girl and not to be sick for the entire time. Caleb is a hand full- we call him our little uncle Jared

Furnace repair business

We knew something was wrong when the furnace was running on a day in august that was 95 outside. Ryan and I had to repair the furnace with a part that we bought off line and help from my dad. It was a lot cheaper- add this to something you do because you are poor. Neverless it was 27 last night and the heat works- Thanks mom and dad for the part!

My First Car

My first car. Caleb needed something to sit in and play with. We got hime this 4 in 1toy. It has wheels for a later time.

Road trip with Grandma Lynda

We left Thursday after Ryan had school and headed toward toward the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Luray Caverns. The kids were great minus a few minor breakdowns. We went to dinner in the town of Luray at a grill that was in a old remodeled building, then we went to Hersey ice cream. Kaitlyn got a cotton candy flavor she ate half and then decided to eat Jody's German Chocolate cake ice cream cone- it was great ice cream. We stayed at the Luray Cavern west motel. It was like we were stuck in the the 1950's but very clean- they had a sign for the that said Cokes and ice- Very cool. Those of you on the west coast call pop-soda-- etc. They call it coke here, regaurdless if you are having sprite, Mt. dew, orange- etc. The Caverns were also very beautiful. We then headed to the Shenandoah national park and did the Skyline drive- What amazing Colors! Kaitlyn was tired and she feel asleep in the car along with caleb for most of the drive- It was a great time- and we are so glad that Grandma Lynda was here with us!

A package from home

Caleb and Kaitlyn recieved a special package from Great Grandmee Donna and Great Grandpa Bob. We hope the weather cools down soon so they can use their new scarves. Kaitlyn was so excited about the princess fabric as was Ryan for Calebs john dear tractor material. We ate the snacks on the Skyline drive. Thanks for thinking of the kids!

Mt Vernon

We went to see George Washingtons Estates Mt. Vernon. We had beautiful weather and it is a beautiful historical site! Kaitlyn was better than she was at Monticello but still isnt into standing in lines to see a house. There was a replica that looked like a doll house she enjoyed looking at that. Caleb was great until we got into the house and then the little terror came out because he was hungry and tired. I had to leave three quarters of the way through the house. Here are a few photos. Kaitlyn enjoyed ice cream at the end- ice cream always seem to make things a little better-

Pumpkin patch

We had a great time at the Ashlandberry farm. The weather was great. Ryan was able to get all the pumpkins he could carry for $20. We got seven pumpkins.

Here is Caleb in his new pj's (from Beka...and Jared too). As I was trying to post this pic, Caleb spit up on me and some bounced off my shirt and onto the computer.

He does not seem to care about the computer.

This is what happens when a 3-year old has school in the morning and does not take a nap.

We told her she couldn't get up from dinner until her brocolli was gone. Obvously, she could not wait.

We started teaching Kaitlyn how to use scissors for preshool. She has done great...until now.

Ryan made me wash calebs M's onesie so that he could wear it for friends. My kids are cute- Caleb is looking less and less like Ryan- i actually think he looks a little like my sister now-

Kaitlyn is painting fall colors for a craft project that we did the next day-
By the time we were done she had her hands, arms completely full of paint.
I was at the sink and I turned around and she was painting the bottom of her foot- crazy kid!

Kaitlyn starting to some drawing and caleb rolls over on his stomach every 30 seconds and he gets high centered on his stomach- He gets extremely angry in a matter of seconds- You cant leave him on the floor for any amount of time. He loves his bumbo-

The park is just a block away- Kaitlyn will have us going daily if it is up to her- she loves to slide and caleb really likes to swing now to- We went today. I push kaitlyn in the stroller and caleb was in the baby borne-Kaitlyn saw three kids from her preschool there-

Ryan and Kaitlyn went on a daddy daughter mini golf afternoon- Ryan said that kaitlyn lasted about half the holes and then she was done- Kaitlyn has it in her head that every sports person on tv including football players are tiger woods-
