Blue pasta

Grandma lynda bought the kids blue pasta when she was here. I made pasta with veggies and shrimp. The kids loved it! Thanks for the fun dinner grandma Lynda.

Brooke tries to walk

Brooke is very close to just walking on her own. She has an amazing ability to squat like a baseball catcher all the time. She will not be one of those kids like caleb that falls all the time. She is overcautious. That is good because we need all the bandades for her brother.

Way to start a morning

You know it isnt going to be a great start to the day When school has been canceled for the trace amount of snow we got last night and when you walk into the door of your babys room and a strong oder of a dirty diaper takes you by surprise. OH MY- This is our 3rd baby and I have changed a lot of dirty diapers but when I went and got Brooke this morning I didnt even know where to start. When I unzipped her sleeping sack her legs were out of her pjs and covered in poop.Her feet up to her belly button- Not good to say the least. I quickly cleaned the sink out and gave her a bath. The clothes----I think they are getting to small- I dont know where to even start with cleaning them. They might have seen there last night of use. I do not think I would ever get the stain out of white PJ's. I would post a picture but I think you get the idea.

On a positive note- Baby Brookie as the kids are calling her- now signs word "more"!! We are now working on drink and sleep.Yeah we just love sign language when our kids are babies. She is now walking steps while holding onto your fingers and has three teeth on the bottom. Getting so big so fast. I hope everyones morning start off better than mine.

Papas visits

Wow in the three days papa was here we did a lot- Most of all we worked on the outside of the house- THANKS dad. I have been having major computer issues and I am looking forward to the time when I live by my two brother in laws for IT services. Anyway Ryan got most of the stuff off my computer and now he said he is throughing it in the trash. We went to the bass pro shop, fishing expo and played lots of games. Fun times.

Girls night Out in the Fan

A good group of friends and I went out to dinner in the fan district last night. It was blue grass night last night. We had great time. Dinner, wine and good friends- what could be better???

Getting Clean

Brooke loves to take a bath with kaitlyn and caleb however she was covered in a very dirty diaper the other day so she took a bath in the sink- she is getting so big.

DSI and explorer

The other night I looked in the play room and this is what I found. Two kids that had got pillows off the couch playing there games in silences. They dont get to play them all the time so it is a special treat!

Orange lover

She loves oranges- we just have to be careful about what we give her because she would eat everything and try to swallow it whole- yikes.

Green Bay family

Although we are from Seattle you would never now it- Ryan has convince all three kids to love the Green Bay packers-

Brooke update

Baby Brooke is now doing all sorts of fun things- She is eating almost everything and loves it- such an easy baby to feed- unlike mr caleb. She loves toast pieces and eggs for breakfast and she now eating lots of beans and noodles for lunches and dinners. She also loves the yo baby yogurt- she can eat an entire yogurt for a meal. it use to take caleb all day to finish a yogurt. She stand up and push a walker things around but really prefers to crawl. She continues to be a good sleeper- going to bed around 830 and up at 8am and three naps during the day. She loves when kaitlyns gets off the buss from school- her entire body tenses up and it is like she is smiling from head to toe- On tues and thursday mornings caleb and her enjoy watching mickey mouse together. In the photos she is enjoying a pizzele cookie from our neighbor.

December WA DC trip

We took the kids up to DC to see the National Botanical gardens, the musuem of achieve history and the national harbor- It was very cold and windy but the kids were great and we really had a good time! Among the things we saw we went to Baja Fresh for dinner- it had just opended the day before and they had a new cola machine- wow! IT was the first black one every- very cool- the kids had sprite with a strawbery mix in. Amazing

By end of the day we had what ryan has termed the trifecta- All things kids asleep at one time in the car!

Christmas Gifts 2010

The kids got everything they asked for from Santa this year. Kaitlyn got her rudulph and a camera caleb got his Zhu Zhu pets and a batman cave. Brooke got a fun new ball poping toy.

Merry Christmas

We have been having some issues with my computer again- sorry I havent updated in a few weeks. We hope and wish all of our friends and family had a very merry christmas- we sure did!

Ginerbread cookies

The kitchen continues to be very busy. Ryan and the kids love it! I myself love it but and getting very tired of cleaning flour off the floor. No really it has been so much fun and I cant wait until next year when Brooke can get her hands it it as well. We decided to make gingerbread cookies this year. I have never done that before. So much fun! The kids did there own decorating and the good thing with gingerbread cookies is the order they are getting the better they are to eat. We are freezing a few of each of our creation so we can decorate a plate for santa.

Our Christmas gift

Ryan and I had a realization and a eye opener the other day that we are truly very lucky and fortunate to have three healthy beautiful children. We were out to eat the other night and there was a family with three kids and the oldest had some mental disorders and although we would love our children the same it is such a relief to have healthy kids. Now to deal with Kaitlyn sinus and ear infection. If there is one thing I have learned is that there is always one kid that is sick or needs special attention when you have three and that there is hardly ever time for peace on your mind. While driving to the ski resort the other day all three kids fell asleep in the truck and it was a wonderful sound of nothing-we have now titled that the trifecta of silence!

sugar cube houses

Yesdterday kailtyn was telling me that kids in england make houses around the holidays with sugar cubes. they have been talking about maps at school and her teacher created a suitcase of santa clause and they visited and talked about different countries and their traditions. So we decided to make sugar cube houses! They are fun and cheap- you should try them-
i will upload a house if we ever get one done!

Massanutten

Our neighbors Rob and Kathy won a trip to Massanutten that had to be used by the end of the year and they were unable to use it so they gave it us! Wow! We stayed 3 days 2 nights at the ski resort. We had a lot of fun because it actually snowed the day we went inter tubing. Traditionally the ski resorts in Va and man made snow. We watched how they make it- kind of neat. There is also an indoor water park and we went to that for a few hours. What a great three days- thanks Rob and Kathy! We also went to a great BBQ restraunt and we had our first fried green pickle. It was delicious! The kids enjoyed some homemade ice cream with there kids meals and it was probably the best ice cream I have had in a long time. Also notice Brooke has a black eye- she is now a danger to herself- she pulls herself on stuff and cant hold herself up and hits her poor little face and head. She is very close to walking at 7 months old.

We went to see Santa the other night and we went to California Pizza kitchen and had dinner. We had so much fun and my kids love pizza.

Baby Brooke 7 months old video

A Baby Brooke update-
She loves rice cereal- I have never seen a kid eat so much cereal! She likes it really thick- She loves banannas and is starting to pick foods up with her fingers and putting them into her mouth. She pulled herself up on a box yesterday to a standing position. She also is going to get a lot more bumps and bruses than the other two kids simple because she is on the move sooner. She got a black eye yesterday and she loves the cat and Merlin puts up with her but this morning she attacked him and he attacked her back. Really not his fault. She is so fast she cornered him. She sleeps about 12 hours at night and takes three naps durring the day. Still only the two teeth on the bottom.

Santa 2010

We went and saw Santa tonight. It was a lot of fun- Brooke tried to grab his beard several times. Kaitlyn and Caleb got to talk with him for about 5 min. Kaitlyn wants a Rudolph reindeer stuffed animal and Caleb wants a zhu zhu pet. They are just simply excited for Christmas. They told Santa Brooke needs clothes. Funny.

Scallop eating machine

Calebs new favorite food is scallops. He had them over at stacey and petes the other night and loved them. ryan and I bought a few scallops at costco and made scallops for him because kaitlyn got to stay at a friends house. He ate 5 huge scallops wrapped in bacon.

FUN HAT

Brooke will leave stuff on her head all day- she wore this hat for 2 hours on tuesday. she is such a fun little girl!

Gingerbread houses

Caleb and Kaitlyn made there own houses this year- They turned out great. Caleb was able to put on all of his own candy and frosting this year. They are so creative!
