Peach Sorbet

Ryan and Kaitlyn made homemade peach sorbet with fresh peaches and a mango- I do have to say it was wonderful- very creamy! Plus it was a lot of fun to watch the two of them do something fun together.

Yet another hospital stay

Day three of the hospital is getting a little borring. the child life speicalist has brought caleb some new toys and Ryan and I keep taking turns with him. The sore looks a lot better today and we should hear about cultures today. He has two big brusies on his head from walking around and hitting it on things. This place isnt the child friendly there are a lot of hard surfaces.

Caleb the little BOY

The First photo of caleb putting his mouth on the back door- he puts his lips right to it and then blows out. I have tried to stop him but he is so sneaky. The second set of photos are of our sweet litte boy- Ryan and I were in the kitchen 10 feet away- He was being so quite. He pulled out almost the entire band new box of wipes. He was just having a good time.

Caleb can walk

It has takken a few extra months but here is caleb walking. Today is the first day that he would rather walk than crawl- however when he wants to get somewhere fast he crawls.

Pizza Time

Kaitlyn and I made pizza dough today that we cooked on a stone outside on the BBQ. She does not like the smell of yeast. The pizza was great we had basil and oregano from our garden in it- we also made a peach crisp on the grill. I am learning to make everything on the BBQ so that we do not have to turn on the oven.

Kings Dominion

Kings Dominion

We were so excited to have gotten season passes to kings dominion theme park- it is about 7 miles north of us and has lots or rides, kids areas and water park. We had a great time and spent nothing (accept for gas in the car. Kaitlyn is completly freaked out when it comes to rides we ended up going home for naps and then going back later in the evening for the water park. We had a great time.

Playing Outside with my mom

Kaitlyn, Caleb and I played outside while Ryan was studing for his test tomorrow. Caleb must have road that bike for 2 miles and walked atleast a mile with the walking toy. Also Kaitlyn took this photo of caleb and I.

I have been looking for a hammer set for Caleb- Grandma Lynda found one on the web- Here is caleb trying to hit everything with his new hammer. Please do not mind the naked baby- it is hot here.

Kaitlyn loves Shrimp now! Well as long as it doesnt have cook on it!

Bubble Time

We are trying to get outside when it is a little cooler- Both Kaitlyn and Caleb love to play with the bubble machine- We had a few tears from both kids when the wind blew bubbles in their eyes. Check out this photo of Caleb.

Hot virginia sun

I took Kaitlyn swimming while caleb took a nap- we were in the pool for 1 hour 40 min and she had 50 spf on. I guess we will need to reapply every hour. She is a little red. This is her first sun burn since we have moved here.

Learning to swim with out water wings

This is the first day I could get kaitlyn to take off her water wings and try to swim without them on. she did alright- lets just say I didnt get a chance to take more photos because I was busy with two kids in the pool.

We have strawberries, blueberries, pumpkins, watermelon and beans. We hope to get something soon but as kaitlyn puts it a creature keeps eating it.
