Richmond ZOO

Kaitlyn had a field trip to the Richmond zoo. It was a great place. We got to feed the Giraffes. Very cool. We also got to see a lot of different types of monkeys. I had no idea of the wonderful zoo we had in our own back yard. What a great day!

Its been crazy around here!

I am going to make a few post a day of the last few weeks.
We have had some busy times in the Anardi house. We have had a field trip, Birthdays, parties, trips, galas and out of town guests. Oh yeah Ryan Graduated from Dental school too. It has all gone by so fast.

It is always something all kids are just getting over a really bad cold. Maybe it will be our last sickness of Virginia. What am I thinking we have 6 weeks here still- plenty of time for the three of them to get sick.

Easter morning

We had a great Easter. The kids got up at 630. Kaitlyn did not sleep the entire night because she was so excited for the Easter bunny to come. Finally at 330 am she said mommy what if I never fall asleep will the Bunny still come. I love that kid. Brooke slept until 1030 am and missed most of the easter egg hunting and looking for baskets. We went to the circus later that day and had a blast. Then we had dinner at our wonderful neighbors house. It was 85 out so they grilled pork chops and chicken it was a great change of pace from the traditional holiday foods. I did buy a ham and am planning on cooking it one day this week- we all love ham. We did an easter egg hunt with out kids outside before the circus. Great memories. I often just want to freeze this time in there lives. I love the excitement holidays bring and the pure joy when the kids find there Easter baskets and plastic eggs filled with candy.

Mt. Trashmore

In Virginia beach there is a park that they have created on land that us to be a landfill. While ryan was at the red cross clinic the kids and I spent 2 hours at the park. We had a lot of fun!

our Little t-ball man

I just had to post this picture- he is loving t-ball and cant wait for the next game. He plays 2 games a week and it is hilarious to watch him. Ryan said on Saturdays game he ran the bases came all the way home and then fell three feet after he touch home plate. We have our first strawberry! He told me that he got it sliding... I had to laugh because it was on his way back into the dugout.

Spring sprinkler time

Last week it was very warm- upper 80's.One day after school the kids decided to run in the sprinkler- Brooke loved it. Caleb and kaitlyn spent over 2 hours running around in the yard playing.

Stacey took this photo- I just loved it so I had to post it. My little girl is going to one in a few weeks. I have been so busy I cant believe it!

Kaitlyns Easter party

Caleb alway gets to go to kaitlyns school parties and loves it!He gets two party's in one day on those days because he gets out of school at 12 and kaitlyns parties start at 1:15.

Little ray of sunshine

She is my little ray of sunshine. She is so beautiful, fun and just adds so much to our family.

My kids

It isnt often I get all three kids looking at the camera- If you have one child you understand- if you have two you understand the challenge to get both kids looking and the if you have three you just come to the conclusion that one kids will not be looking at the camera.

Petting farm

I took the kids this week to a little petting farm at short pump town center. I was taken a back when Brooke started dancing at the baby bunnies. I had no idea how much she liked animals. The kids liked looking at the baby ducks. I told them we will have to go to my uncles on the lake next spring and feed the ducks!

Calebs Easter party at School

We are sure going to miss Calebs school and his friends. Caleb has grown up a lot this last year and a lot has to do with his little preschool and his friends. The kids had an egg hunt, food and games for there party.

Egg dying

Each kid dyed a dozen and half of eggs- minus the one egg I peeled for Brooke to eat. They loved it and the eggs turned out great!

Graduation

Can you believe it is only 32 days away? In a lot of ways it has gone by fast and others not so fast. Ryan has 18 days left of school. Clinic closes may 12th. We are both excited for this special day to come! It seems like yesterday that I set up the count down on the blog at year mark.

Calebs first Tball game

I had a very hard time finding pants and shoes to fit this little guy- so cute. Most of the parents spent the game laughing- Who need MLB when you have 4 year olds on a baseball field.

Brooke 10 months old still takes a bath in the sink, sometimes. She loves it and splashes water everywhere.

NYC

NYC is an amazing place- there really is no words to describe the hustle and bustle of the city. We were there only three nights and did everything we possible could. The kids were great minus no sleeping by Brooke- I really cant blame her the hotel was a very loud place- As is all NYC. We were lucky enough to see pretty much everything that we wanted to see and the train was a great way to get up there although 6 hours of sitting is never fun for anyone. NYC is no place to drive especially Manhattan.

cookie mess

We often need to buy ourselves a few extra minutes at the dinner table so we give brooke 1 cookie- I dont know if it is a 3rd kid thing or if we just take longer eating salads at dinner these days. Probably a little bit of both. It takes us an extra 5 minutes when we are all done to get her and her high chair clean- some how it is worth it.
