Myrtle Beach
In out attempt to see and do as much as we can while we are in the east coast we decided to take a quick trip to myrtle beach. I got a great price on hotwire for a hotel so in the car we went. 6 hours of drive with three kids in the backseat of the car. The first night was great- the kids actually were playing in the water with there clothes on and loving it! The next day was horrible- I mean THE HEAT! it was over 100 with heat indexes in the ranges 110-120s. We went to the beach for less than a hour in the morning and ryan, brooke and I could not take it- so we loaded up in the car and went to the myrtle beach aquarium. AC is a wonderful thing!We forgot the camera a lot with all the stuff we have to carry with the baby-so we have only a few pictures. Ryan forgot to put a stroller in as well. We did have a good time.

Kaitlyns 6th birthday party!
We took three of kaitlyns friends to chick-fil-for lunch. Bowling for 2 hours and then to cold stone for dessert. We had a great time, but 4 6 years olds are full of energy- plus Caleb and Brooke were with us. Ryan and I were exhausted at the end of the day but I think kaitlyn had a great time. Happy 6th birthday kaitlyn. I can not believe how big she is getting- time has really started to pick up. She is going to be in 1st grade this year. WOW

Girls scouts
Kailtyn had her girls scout camp at campy kitty a few weekends ago but it was record hot- 106 so they only made it one night and after swimming the entire troop packed up and came home. We also went to the flyin squirels game on friday night with her troop! Good times!Caleb just loves Nutsy they mascot- he has stated he is a super hero!

Our Seattle trip
What a whirlwind (like it always is....) We had my sisters beautiful wedding- birthday parties- Family photos- crabbing- road horses- went to the canal- a trip to the park and all of Ryans yearly doctor visits as well as our teeth cleaning. I got a terrible ear infection and Kaitlyn with a dislocated elbow. So that lead to two trips to the urgent care. We had a great time- Here are a few photos of our trip! It was so nice to see every one but both Ryan and I have to admit that we loved playing with our two nephews and cant wait until we are around more often to see them grow.

Happy 2 month birthday Brooke
She was a good sport at kaitlyn's swim meet- 104 temp outside and her own personal fan. What a way to spend your 2 month old birthday.

Not hot enough to fry an egg
The kids and I tried to fry an egg yesterday outside on the front pouch- we broke a record at 104 yesterday. It is hot enough to melt color crayons.
They egg as you can see did not cook at least in the 10 min I left it outside.

Bush Gardens Day 2
we went to Bush gardens later friday afternoon so we could watch the fireworks- the weather was great! In the upper 80's and the kids had a blast. we went to the Italian and German part of the park. Kaitlyn broke through her shell and went on a few rides and actually liked them. Mean while caleb was crying because he wasnt big enough to go on the big rides- He LOVES them. Poor kid.
Happy July 4th
We started the day off with kings charter parade. There was a small petting farm, jumpy toy and snow cones and popcorn. They had a blast. The we went to Zack and Lelsie house and we had some amazing BBq food and they had rented this huge water slide for the kids- Caleb loved it- he has no fear! Lastly we met doug and amy down at the Univeristy of Richmond to watch Richmonds huge display- it was a great day!
