out door camp out

I thought it would be fun to camp out in the back yard- It ended up being extremely hot so we did the hot dogs, smores and popcorn in the tent upstairs in the ryans study room. Kaitlyn slept in her tent in the AC house. We had a great time other than the extreme heat in april. By the way this is how ryan camps- in his back yard with his blue tooth.

Tennis lessons

Well in our efforts to keep kaitlyn trying new things we signed her up for tennis lessons. She really enjoys them and it is fun to see her try new things. She did pretty well now it is up to us to keep taking her to the court. It is has been so hot this past few days we havent done it.

Pollen

I wish photos were true to the color and feel of this pollen- I have never seen anything like it. Ryan said it is a killer for allergies. I can even feel it on my skin and in my eyes when we went outside for a few minutes earlier today. It is so gross. Everything is just covered in it.

Caleb bites Kaitlyn

Dont ask me how it happend- The kids were laughing and the next thing I hear is kaitlyn crying screaming that caleb pinched her. Looking at the mark it is for sure not a pinch! BOYS- who wants one???

Easter

Here is a few photos from the day before Easter and Easter morning- The Easter bunny brought the kids a hot wheel and new sun glasses. We have Monkey Bread every holiday morning- the kids just love it- (dont we all?)

Maymont with our friends

The fun continues- We went to Maymonth park with our friends. Aiden from preschool his mom Amanda and sister Ivy. We were also so lucky because Brandi and the girls joined us as well. We saw a lot of animals. Bald eagles, ox, buffalo, lots of goats, bears, fox, deer and farm animals. We had a picnic and easter egg hunt. It was a great day with wonderful 70 degree weather. Spring break fun

Wednesday we spent the entire day with our friends Brandi, Alli and Savannah. We had so much fun dyeing easter eggs and making sugar cookies. It was so nice to visit and catch up. The girls played so well together and they let caleb tag along. Kaitlyn ended up staying the night. She had so much fun.

Alvis Dairy cow farm

The kids and I went to the farm today- it was a bit cold and smelly but we had a good time looking at the cows- They have over 600 milking cows and 100 that are having babies- we learned that each cow produces about 125 pounds a milk a day! They are milked 3 times a day and sleep on water beds. We ended our day with mcdonalds for lunch and smiles on our faces- as we were driving home kaitlyn stated she still smelled like cows milk- crazy I dont think has put it all together that the milk that we drink comes from the farm.

Fishing

Here is a few photos of our fun fishing trip with Uncle Dale and Josh. The kids each got to reel up one fish and we had a great time. The kids and I wish we were able to do it more often. Aunt suzie and Brianna made a wonderful dinner as well!Here is a short video as well- kids are funny.

Calebs 2nd birthday hair cut

So I have decided I didnt know what to do with calebs hair anymore. My mom and I took him to get his hair cut today. He wasnt into it for most of the time but he did get it cut and boy does it look so cute. We went to pizza for lunch and they didnt charge us for caleb because he was so little he ate three times more than kaitlyn. I think he is has decided that he finally likes food. Lucky for us with high food bills a ahead of us.

Calebs birthday

We were so lucky to have been in seattle for calebs birthday parties. I made a tractor cake for the Beckler side and we had an ice cream cake for the Anardi side. Lots of fun boy toys. I need get some photos of the ice cream cake.

Look at your kaitlyn

how cute is she- This was takken the other day outside while caleb was taking a nap. we were out playing baseball. It has been so nice out but so cold.

Lobster

We love our neighbors- Tom and Betsy had some clients give them some live lobsters- To many to eat- to bad! They gave us two and we had them for dinner on sunday night. They were wonderful!

Valentines day

Kaitlyn colored all her own valentines and wrote all the names on them. Here are a few photos of the kids at kaitlyns party and kaitlyn doing her cards.

Sick day (again)

Kaitlyn woke up this am with a very high fever. 102.9 and said said her ear hurt. So we headed to the doctor again this am. Both kids have double ear infections and we are on our countless round of antibotics- I am begining to thinks this state is slowing killing us. (HA,HA). Caleb is feeling fine other than the box of kleenex we have gone through in two days. Kaitlyn on the other had is not feeling so well. She has the chills, fever, and overall doesnt feel well and the worse part is that my troat is now itchy- that is never a good sign.

Super bowl snacks

Ryan requested some snacks for the football game. Because the game doesnt start here until 630 they became a very unhealthy dinner for all of us. We had chicken nachos, cheese stuffed pizza, and honey glazed chicken, top it off with ice cream for dessert. The kids were in bed by half time and we actually got to watch the second half of the game.

Fruit salad

Kaitlyn just loves a good fruit salad. She got a new knife from pampered chef. She loves to cook- just like her mom. Caleb is my little chef as well.

It was a great to see all of our family and friends. one of the first days we were there the kids got to open there presents from their Nanny and Papa.

Our night out

Ryan and I and our two really good friends Steve and Brandi went out on the spirit of Norfolk dinner cruise for Brandi's birthday. We had a great time it was nice to get away and dream about what the future may hold for us. Steve is also a 2nd year dental school. We also had the kids have an over night baby sitter for the first time. Everything worked out great.
