Kaitlyn had her first soccer practice tonight. She learned how to dribble the ball, trap the ball and kick with the inside of her foot- she did so good- I told her we would go and look for some soccer shorts for next week. She listened to coach allen and had a great time.

Fishing day 3
We went 24 miles out today and fished for halibut- Hali is what the locals call them. Dad and I caught a nice 43 pound halibut- mom caught a lincod and a small hali- I cant believe the halibut weighs as much as I have lost in weight- I could even lift it up- amazing! It wouldnt even fit in the fish box
They weather and waters are terrible- we stayed in today and had breakfast- we are still having a great time!

Waffle House
Kaitlyn has been so excited to go to the Waffle house since we moved here. Funny thing there is one 1/2 mile from the house and we hadnt been yet. We told her we would go this morning after I ran 10 miles- We get there and she orders a ham and cheese omlet- She ate the whole thing- couldnt believe it- she also ate 1/4 of my waffle and a few bites of toast- of coarse she didnt eat the hashbrowns because she doenst like potatos. Ryan had there famous pecan waffle. We all ate a breakfast for $13.05 and were in and out in just under 45 min. Something to be said for the Waffle house.

Kids outside having fun
This is just a video of the kids outside having fun together this afternoon- It is a nice upper 80 degree day today with a nice cool breeze- very low humidity. We are enjoying it and have been outside most of the day. Sorry if the video is in the wrong direction- This video is taken from our regular digital camera- I cant figure out how to flip it.

Honey Comb Candy
I grew up loving this candy- It is a fond memory of my childhood. It is one of those things that just take you back in time. We could only find it at those expense little candy stores like in westport and in canada they have it as a candy bar made by cadbury. I found a recipe on the internet and made it. It was and is wonderful! Here are some photos
