cookie mess

We often need to buy ourselves a few extra minutes at the dinner table so we give brooke 1 cookie- I dont know if it is a 3rd kid thing or if we just take longer eating salads at dinner these days. Probably a little bit of both. It takes us an extra 5 minutes when we are all done to get her and her high chair clean- some how it is worth it.

The window is open

Brooke loves when the window is open- I often find her finding things to toss out the window. She always points at everything now- she thinks she is so funny. Yesterday we were all out doing bubbles- the kids and I- and she crawled over got a bubble wand dipped it the bubbles- wrong end- but she tried to blow bubbles like kaitlyn and caleb. Hilarious. This morning she was playing with the remonte the channel changed and she pointed the remote at the tv to try to fix it- wow what a little sponge. We have finally reached the stange when we say no she hands us what is not suppose to have.

National Zoo with grandma

I had this great idea to go to the National Zoo in DC while lynda was here. We really had a good time- minus the 3 hours drive home in trafic and the explosive diaper all over me from brooke- The kids were great and we got to see so many fun animals. We really liked the long hair ant eater with its baby and the orangutan hanging over the park!

T-ball for caleb

My little Tball man- he loves it. He does well. I love the photo of him with the ball already behind him- look at his little face. He is in his element when he is playing and I cant wait to sit in the bleachers for the next 20 years watching my kids play a sport that I truely love! yea for me.

A good friend of mine just posted this on FB and I just had to laugh and post it n my blog because it is such a true thing for my life right now. Kaitlyn is home for the 3rd day- this virus has just takken a toll on her.

Pirate party

Caleb had his 4th birthday party on sat. we had a treasure map- treasure cakes- pirate costumes and pirate music. The kids had fun and had fun on there search for there treasures. We had beautiful weather and a great group of calebs school friends.

Pizza night

We made pizza a few ago and ryan had to make this huge calzone- why- I do not know it is like pizza with twice the crust. Ryan feels the need to be different than the rest of us. whatever- he was excited about it and said it was really good.

sick kids

We are finally off antibotics when.....
Caleb got Fifths disease- A viral infection with a temp and followed by a runny nose and a rash.
Brooke got a very bad diaper rash from diarrhea and then started to vomit. We took her to kid med on friday night and they gave her something to help with the nausea. poor thing. We are at the rate of 1 diaper every 10 min. no fun for anyone.
Kaitlyn woke up yesterday morning vomiting she has gotten sick once every 20 min for the last 24 hours. Poor thing.
Myself-
My stomach hasnt felt normal for two days-not bad but not good- maybe it is the amount of vomit and poop I have cleaned up in the last week. Who knows

Please give us a break-

oh yeah we had open house yesterday and poor kaitlyn had to sit at the park with the stomcah bug- getting sick in the car 5 times. Oh my it has been a week.

Thank goodness grandma lynda was here to help us- let hope she stays healthy- although we heard that grandpa kim is sick and that was not from us (yet)

Brookey

She is such an amazing little girl. We are so lucky she in our lives! She now has 8 teeth 4 on top and 4 on bottom. She is walking but crawls most of the time still because she is so fast! She loves to point and things with her pointer finger and her giggles are priceless. She loves cereal bars and believe it or not salmon. She gets so excited when the school bus comes to drop kaitlyn. She loves the kitty- Merlin does really well with her.

Sick AGAIN- Calebs birthday

This time it is Caleb- poor little man- he woke up on his birthday with 102.5 temp. Thank goodness for Motrin. Fever is down to 99.3. I am thankful that it is just a virus and it will go away after a few days- At least he gets presents and his grandma is coming today which should make everything better- right?? Poor thing crawled into bed with me this am and his ears were so hot--- Now it is a waiting game to see what the next symptoms maybe or who else gets the "sickness". Happy Birthday to my sweet little boy- he turns 4 today. A day we will never forget- Can you believe that he is 4. amazing. I can't imagine life with out him and all of his little boy habbits! We love you little man. Happy 4th birthday!

I can make my own Meals

Caleb loves to get himself his own meals now- funny! He loves english muffins with peanut butter and honey these days!

She now has 7 teeth and working on the 8th- She has now decided grinding her teeth is a fun thing to do. I think the front one already has a chip on it but she will not let me see in there more than 3 seconds at a time. check out the drool on this photo--- yikes.

Caleb got the sickness

Last friday caleb came home from school and was super cranky- Both ryan and I tried to get him to take a nap but he will not take naps. After an hour in his room we said he could come outside and play while we cleaned the garage- after about 30 min of playing he wanted to go watch his new favorite show pirate island. I came back into the house to check on him and there he was sleeping sitting up- poor thing. When he woke up he had a fever of 102 and said that he had the "sickness". Kids say the funniest things. Now Brooke is sick and last night he ran away from her saying he didn't want the sickness back to keep baby brooke away from him.
