Halloween party number 2

Kaitlyn or should I say cinderella -didn't want to play many of the games. I don't know why but she wanted to eat an apple so she did bob for one- I couldn't believe it-She got one!!! She loves the crafts at parties. Here is a few photos of our fun day together. Caleb took a 4 hour nap for Ryan so he got time to study and some well over due alone time. We are so lucky to have a wonderful place to live while we are here in virginia. Although we miss our friends and family back home we have met some really wonderful people here.

Saturday morning painting

Kaitlyn wanted to paint her pumpkin she got from the school pumpkin patch so we got the paints out. Caleb is quite a painter himself.

Trunck or treat

We all got dressed up- well The three of us did- Here is a photo of caleb the night before trying to get his costume on. He got mad the day of and threw up all over his custume. I was so mad at him. We had a great time and the weather was perfact- not to bad for last minute custumes! Thanks to our friends the Lewis family for the invite we cant wait to do it again next year.

Apple orchard

I took the kids to an apple orchard today by monitcello it is about an hour and 20 mins from the house- we had wonderful weather upper 70's and we had kaitlyns friend julie with us. Let me just say three kids is a lot of work- plus caleb is dealing with a virus of some sort- I will not go into details but it isnt much fun for me to deal with. The kids were able to pick all kinds of apples and eat them as we picked- we also got carmel apple cookies as a treat on the hay ride. Our neighbors invited us and we will make it a fall tradition it was simple great- we only wish ryan could have been there with us- he was busy with school as always.

Grandpa and Grandmas October 2008 visit

We had such a busy visit- It was a lot of fun! We only wish we could have them here longer. We went to Ryans white coat ceremony and then out to a really nice dinner. Saturday, we went to the pumpkin patch and then out to BBQ. Caleb got hurt for the 2nd day in a row, he ended up getting hurt about 5 days in a row. Kim has named in 24-7 times 2. Sunday we headed over to wiliamsburg. We stayed at the Great wolf lodge. What a great experience. We saw the Berkley plantation and all that colonial williamsurg had to offer. The next day we went to both Jamestown and Yorktown. Then we headed over to VA beach and stayed a night there. We were all tired and glad to be back on Wednesday. So sad to see them leave us. Thanks for a great trip!

White coat ceremony

It was a beautiful friday day. Ryan had his white coat ceremony. Kim and lynda are out to celebrate. It was very fun to see kim give ryan his coat.
