Carmel apples

Kaitlyn, Ryan and I made carmel apples- ryan put peanuts on his- it was so good! Kaitlyn wanted sprinkles- Fun fall things to do! We had to wait until caleb went to bed to eat them so kaitlyn was so excited to stay up past her bed time.

Fall pumpkin painting

I bought these ceramic pumpkins for the kids last year on clearance- They had so much fun and they turned out so good! Caleb really got into the painting- Kaitlyn now states she would like to be an artist for a career. She did ask how she was going to drive her car to a artist place when she was older. So cute.

Caleb is getting into the baby Eistein videos- lucky for us- they are so much fun! This is a video of our two kids watch the show.

Our Friday night

We went out to take some clothes back to kohls and we ate at moe's burrito place. when we came home I saw this frog on the long window by the front door- I was happy to leave it on the window and look at it but watch the video and you will see that it came inside.

kaitlyns soccer day 2

Kaitlyn did a lot better at soccer today. She really enjoys it but it is thursday night is late in the week and she is ready for early an early bedtime but we do not get home until almost 8 o'clock. She is getting really good at trapping the ball.

One tuesday fall afternoon playing with our mom

The kids are old enough now to just go outside and play while I wash the car and do things in the yard. Of coarse it includes popsicles and caleb always wearing his helmet. I think all little boys should wear helmets when they are playing outside.

Kaitlyns first apple pie

Kaitlyn has been really bugging me to make an apple pie- I really dont like them so I havent been to excited- Also because we end up tossing it because we just cant eat a big pie- Kailtyn and I made one small large pie and two little pies for another time. She was in charge of peeling all the apples and the filling. she also helped with the crusted- so much help. Here are a few photos of our fun day.

Big sister and little brother bath time

These times are coming to a close end as our kids are getting a little older. Ryan did bath time while I was running sunday morning. They really still enjoy it and it is something fun and not just something we do to get clean.

My little boy with all the issues

I love my husband and I cant totally blame him but he did not put bug repellent on our children and they each got serveral really bad bug biteslast night- I took caleb to the doctor first thing this morning- he is being treated for MRSA just incase but the doctor really hasnt seen any MRSA cases look like this normally they have a boil or abscess with them and this does not- but it is just our luck that we have another issue with caleb- they are extra precautious because it can do physical damage to his ear and because he is a boy it will show is entire life. We drew a black line on the red swollen line- if it crosses it then we know it is growing and that isnt good news- So everyone cross your fingers and pray that it is simply a bug bite and not another MRSA spot. We will call the doctor tomorrow am if it gets worse tonight-she said it could be like this for up to 48 hours after the bite, although I do not see a bite spot- Crazy things- lifes challenges.

Kaitlyns first soccer practice

Kaitlyn had her first soccer practice tonight. She learned how to dribble the ball, trap the ball and kick with the inside of her foot- she did so good- I told her we would go and look for some soccer shorts for next week. She listened to coach allen and had a great time.

Family pasta night 3

So we have made pasta several nights now and this turned out the best- I think we have it down. The kids are really getting into it now- it really has turned out to be something really fun! We wish you were all here to try it!

caleb and the slide

The kids these days fight over who can hold the hose. You would think they would fight over who gets to go down the slide. It is 6pm and still 80 outside. Oh ya it is september 15th and last nights low was 75.

We dumped out the sand box because we need new sand. The kids are having fun just being kids outside.

A playdate with Katherine rose

Kaitlyn and Katherine rose are really good friends. She lives a few houses down from us. We only get to see if everyone once in a while because her parents are split. She is a great kid. Today they did everything- They also wore me out. We played outside- rode bikes, did chalk, made cookies, played dress up...... etc. Fun times with 4 year old little girls. Oh ya I also had caleb.. it was a fun day. kids are in bed and it is before 8 pm .

Kaitlyns first day of school 2008

Our little kaitlyn is getting so big- she went to preschool for her second year. She is going 5 days a week for 3 hours a day. She meet her teacher and a friend that she had in her class from last year, gave me a wave and off she went. Today she is over at a friends house from her class on a play date. where has time gone?
