I had to post this photo- He just love to climb on everything in seconds- He is starting to be so much fun- I never thought I would say that together- Caleb and fun--- We love him. Today he already fell backwards off the stairs- about the bottom 4 and hit his head and pinched his fingers in kaitlyns new cd player. he wanted to try to shut the door to the cd player with his hand still in it- I heard him screaming and he was just pushing down on it with is other hand- His little fingers were so red- He is fine now he is taking a nap- No more bumps and bruises atleast for another couple of hours.

Kaitlyns new toys

Kaitlyn is getting the hang of riding her new bike and shooting baskets in her new hoop- She is so much fun at this age. Can we just freeze her in time? She also fell off and got her first road rash- I am sure it will be the first of many.

Kaitlyns 4th birthday party with our neighbors

We had Kaitlyns 4th birthday party- The theme was summer fun. It was so much fun! Caleb was so much fun today as well. We are so lucky to have such wonderful neighbors. I made Kailtyns cake- it was a Sandcastle with ocean and a little girl sunbaking as kaitlyn says- The only thing better is if our family and friends from seatle could have been here.

Summer fun on Daddys break

We had somethings to deal with so we didnt get a chance to travel much but we did make a few day trips- to kings dominion and virginia beach. We also took the kids to the playroom. Kaitlyn had Savannah stay the night one night as well. We have been busy.

It's all here

First, the espresso machine and today the grinder arrived. All the pieces to the puzzle are complete. This isn't your run of the mill grinder either. This thing has a timer and a setting to control the fineness/coarseness of the grind. Stay tuned for my next blog update. I will post a demo of the grinder and me pulling a shot (that's barista lingo). Check out the pic of my great froth (actually it's not all that great but it's getting better).
I think I had five shots today. I am high on life (and a little caffeine).

B-day gift

Today UPS delivered my espresso machine that I have been waiting 6 days for. During the last 6 days I have been researching all things espresso. Apparently, it is quite the science. After having made only three shots so far it is also apparent that I have mastered it. I have to say that the three shots were pretty delicious. Since the machine came at 5pm I had to run to the store to get some decaf because I could not wait until the morning. Tomorrow I will start the morning with a cappuccino and a shot of espresso chaser. Thanks mom and dad.
p.s. my deluxe grinder should arrive in two days. I will soon put Starbucks out of business.

Our first Hanover tomato

This is the first tomato that we got from our plants- the county where we live is famous for tomatos. We are also having green beans from our garden tonight. Kaitlyn loves the garden. We are still fighting with the squirels they ate another huge tomato today-

Ryans 31st Birthday

Ryan asked Kaitlyn what kind of cake he wanted of coarse it couldnt be chocolate- he wanted a tooth cake. We had our friends over to kim and lyndas and had pizza and road the horses. It was great to see everyone.

I tried to choose pictures for our friends and family that werent at the big day. We had a lot of fun- good family,friends, food and weather- what else could we ask for? All of the photos are from Aunt Sandi's camera- she is so good- Thanks Aunt Sandi.
