Lots of snow

We are getting a good dose of snow. School has been delayed 2 hrs already and it will probably be closed tomorrow and possibly Wednesday. I will post new photos tomorrow!

Clam Digging

We are so lucky to have the ability to get steamer clams anytime it is low tide while we are at the canal. Kaitlyn and our newphew Anthony could eat them by the bucketful. All the kids really enjoy collecting them. It is like an Easter Egg hunt in the mud!

Only kids take oranges and put them in there mouths and smile and giggle. Even Brooke was doing it.

We have been so surprised about how much we love looking at Mount Rainier and how much it changes each day. Ryan took these photos a few days ago. AMAZING

Where does the time go?

Yikes it is 2012 and almost 1 month since I have posted last. With all the holiday festivities- computer issues and life I haven't started the new blog off very well. We had a fantastic Christmas season and have done a lot pike place market,ice skating, snow sledding, Polar express train ride,cookie decorating, snowflake lane and we've spent a weekend at the hood canal. Computer Virus

I am so thankful for my brother in law who fixed my computer after I got a virus from a cooking website. Yikes. I will post the last few weeks happenings soon! We have so many holiday going on. lights-photos sessions- baking-parties. Our Elf travels back in forth nightly to the north pole. Brooke is now saying words like "airplane" very clearly. wow time is moving at light speed. I guess it must be the holiday season!

Baking

All three of kids love to bake! The kids

helped make an entire flourless cake by themselves. Kaitlyn has now learned all about dry measuring cups, liquid and the different sizes of the measurement spoons. Brookes favorite thing to say is up---- meaning she wants up on the island to help cook. Kids are stirring and melting the butter and chocolate for the cake for thanksgiving.

Seattle 1/2 marathon

I ran the Seattle half marathon on Sunday. It was a wet hilly 13.1 miles but I didnt stop and ran the entire way and felt pretty good! Thank you to all of my family who came out to support me! I really enjoyed looking for everyone- lets face it- 13.1 miles is a long way to run and looking for people I

knew gave me something to do for the 2 hrs 12 min.

Jingles the Elf

We have an elf in our house for the holidays. The kids are so excited! They names our little elf Jingles. Jingles returns to the north pole nightly to report back to Santa on how behavior was during the day, when he returns he is in a different spot. Daily it has been the kids getting up and looking for Jingles. What a fun holiday traditions. I wonder how lucky we are to have been chosen to receive and elf.

Our Wa Life

We have had a busy few months! Ryan Gradutated from Dental school, we moved acrossed the country, bought a new house, bought a new car, the kids started new schools, Kaitlyn and caleb completed soccer and swim lessons. Decorated for halloween---- I think that just about covered it. I thought I would be done blogging but realized that I truely have missed out on documenting what is going on in my kids lives- crazy it is so much easier to blog it that write it in a baby book. So here we go! Here are a few photos from the past few months.

Getting ready for our move

We have been spending a few hours a day packing and getting ready for the big moving truck to arrive here on the 15th of june. I am not sure that we will ever be ready or plan enough for a move like this one. Both the distance and the emotions are very large~ We are looking forward to our family, our new home, ryans new career getting started. We are very very sad to leave VA and the friends that we have made. It is has been a wonderful place to be....It is has been a Beautiful Ride. I have placed a song on the blog that will remain here until we sign out of VA on june 21st. What great memories we have made- Va you will never be forgotten!

Neighborhood celebration for Ryan

On Saturday night after the VCU graduation we had several friends and neighbors over to our house to celebrate! What a wonderful day of celebration it was- good food- good family- good friends. After we went out to dave and Busters to celebrate with Jared and Beka and Amanda and Matt. What a day to remember!

What a great time we had. This is the only photo we have- good thing it turned out half way good. It was really fun to see everyone all dressed up!

Lady Bug cake

I made a lady bug cake for when Grandma, Grandpa, Jared, Beka and Anthony were here. She also had a lady bug outfit. So cute. I always say she is my little love bug. Happy birthday Brooke.

Dolphin Dash

Kaitlyn's school had a 1 mile race at her school. The kids ran the entire mile. Ryan ran with them. He had to stop part way through because calebs friend Bradyn fell and ryan had to carry him most of the mile. What a good way to teach the kids exercise is so important for them! WE will miss CSES!

Brooke turns 1

My sweet baby girl turn one this past week. I cant even believe how big she has gotten. She is now not only walking but running to keep up with kaitlyn and caleb. She loves to sleep to her monkey music and lights and she has a pink lovey with a bear head she cant sleep without. She loves to eat everything. She is a great eater but loves her bottle still. There is a challenge with every little one. She also loves to climb stairs and refuses to tap a nap when we are out an about. Crazy! She is loves life and will be talking here shortly! She is always talking in her own little language.

Dancing Brookey

Is she not cute?? I think she is the cutest thing in the world. She loves to dance and music. I always say she will be my party girl.

Brookes first Ride

You can see brookes head just above the ride. she actually really liked it. she was really more worried were Kailtyn and Caleb were the entire time. I cant say it was my favorite ride but it is what the kids love to do.
